The problem
Businesses retire computers and servers constantly, and the default paths serve them poorly: data left sitting on drives, hardware landfilled, pickups that take weeks to schedule. Small businesses feel it worst. A truck and a straight answer go a long way.
The build
- Run scheduled pickups across the Treasure Valley with documented chain of custody from the client's door to final disposition.
- Document every job end to end: each client receives data-destruction records for their equipment, with a certificate for every batch.
- Refurbish what holds value and resell it; recycle the rest responsibly, with materials recovery as the long-term build.
The evidence
- Operating since December 2025 from Meridian, Idaho. It pays my mortgage, and it keeps my hands in hardware and operations.
- The operation runs on tooling I built: scheduling, documentation, and a field console my systems maintain.
Sentinel is the business that keeps this site grounded. It runs trucks, lifts servers, and answers to business owners across the Treasure Valley, and it runs day to day on systems I designed and built for it. The AI practice grew out of operations like these: work with schedules, custody, and customers who judge you on whether you showed up and did the job right.
